Diana was born and raised in Washington D.C. to a large family of 3rd generation Washingtonians. Growing up around the stately architecture and diverse community heavily influenced her design aesthetic of “effortless, timeless, stunning.” In her youth
(starting at age 12) she was often called a “tiny crusader,” advocating issues affecting her community including Voting rights, Juvenile Justice, Fair and Equitable access to Education, and access to jobs programs for minors.

After acquiring a BA in Fashion Design from Washington University in St. Louis, Diana moved to New York as an intern in 2008. She has since worked for Proenza Schouler, Cynthia Steffe, Walter Baker, Kenneth Cole, Coach, and Eileen Fisher. In early 2019, Diana parted ways with Eileen Fisher to pursue a career as a sustainable fashion consultant and finish her M.S. in Impact Focused Business from Glasgow Caledonian University. She is slated to graduate June 2020 with a concentration in Environmental Justice. Her dissertation topic is building the case for American grown Hemp to address the fashion industry’s looming Sustainability Problem.

Diana also prides herself on the ability and opportunity to shape the next generation of designers through talks, portfolio reviews, mentorship and meaningful connections. When she isn’t busy designing, she is cooking extensive meals for her vast and unruly family, adventure traveling, or hosting a sustainability book club for like-minded fashion professionals.
